Stellenbosch at Summer Place | A Wine Event for Joburgers

Stellenbosch at Summer Place artOn 30 October, Gauteng socialites will be able to indulge in the very best the Stellenbosch Winelands has to offer when Sanlam Private Investments (SPI) hosts the fourth Stellenbosch at Summer Place event – a sophisticated evening of art, fashion, music and food, combined with wine from one of the country’s premier wine-producing regions.

Intimate, engaging and slick, the 2013 Summer Place event will be even better than before, with the country’s most-beloved wine region bringing you an extra-impressive line-up of life’s finer things.

“Our focus this year is on creating an unbelievable sensory journey to surprise and delight our guests. Stellenbosch’s best wines, finest chefs, freshest music, rarest art and edgiest catwalk fashion will be uniquely and cleverly paired to provide a carefully curated taste of the Stellenbosch lifestyle – using all the senses!” shares Annareth Bolton, CEO of the Stellenbosch Wine Routes.

Only the very top winemakers and chefs from Stellenbosch’s prestigious wine region will travel to Jozi for the event. The carefully selected wines on offer were chosen through a strict selection process and meet the wine route’s high quality standards, and then some!

In order to maximise the wining and dining aspect of the event, each wine will be paired with a signature dish to be enjoyed in the event’s unique ambience. Each dish will be delivered in conjunction with a unique ‘attraction’ to complete the experience. This could mean a live music act with starters and an intimate fashion show for mains or even a private one-on-one session with a leading art expert during desert. There are holds barred at this year’s Summer Place.
