Bring every occasion to life at Steenberg this season

Surrounded by spectacular vistas, Steenberg is home to the finest lifestyle and conferencing experiences in the Cape. With acclaimed restaurants, spas, and event venues, it is the perfect venue to bring every occasion to life this season. Steenberg’s beautifully appointed venues are ideally located across the farm to maximise the breathtaking views while being convenient and accessible for both business and celebrations alike. Among these unique multi-use spaces are the Terroir Terrace, the Cuveé Room, and the Ruby Room.

Located on the first floor of award-winning Bistro Sixteen82 restaurant, the Terroir Terrace is as serene as it is functional. Floor-to-ceiling doors allow natural light to pour into the space, where up to 30 people can meet for conferences, meetings, or special occasions. Drop the blinds, and the Terroir Terrace transforms into a chic and sophisticated venue, ideal for focused presentations. Located above Bistro Sixteen82, guests can enjoy the finely crafted menu, with breakfast, lunch, and dinner on offer.

On the other side of the farm, located at the famed Tryn restaurant, two spaces transform the concept of modern conferencing and functions. The Ruby Room is at once vibrant, warm, and intimate. With a modern look and feel, ample light, and an undeniable sense of peace, it is ideal for gatherings of friends and family, as much as it’s suitable for dynamic work functions. With space for up to 18 people, the Ruby Room features plush booths and a central table, where Tryn’s celebrated menu can be enjoyed throughout the day and evening. The Cuvée Room, also located at Tryn, is the very picture of modern elegance. Here, design and heritage blend beautifully for a space that can be transformed around any occasion for up to 40 people. The high ceilings, generous light, and fireplace make for a space that feels as inviting as it is practical. And with Tryn’s menu available to guests, it’s the ideal spot to spend the entire day, and well into the evening.

The experience continues beyond events and conferencing; at Steenberg, a world of leisure and relaxation awaits guests. With the 5 Lives Package, guests can enjoy the luxury and splendour of Steenberg Hotel, which is home to 24 rooms, including three luxury suites, and two private villas with their own exclusive pool and entertainment area. The Hotel offers a complete escape, surrounded by sprawling vineyards, untouched mountains, walking trails, and access to the neighbouring 18-hole championship Steenberg Golf Club. For those guests seeking deep rejuvenation and rest, the Steenberg Spa is the ideal sanctuary. Here, world-class treatments are done by skilled therapists in the quiet confines of the Spa, or the pristine outdoors, including the secluded Scented Garden and the newly-unveiled and exquisite Secret Garden.

Steenberg hosts many exciting events throughout the year. During the month of April, guests can enjoy exclusive deals and calendar highlights. At Steenberg Spa, the Breath of Life Massage offers complete release from muscle tension, enhancing circulation and increasing tissue elasticity at a special offer of R1500 per person; or relish in the Bellabaci CBD Muscle Soak, available until 30 April 2024 at R400 for 150ml. This revolutionary product is infused with powerful healing ingredients and recommended by the world’s top physiotherapists for unlocking greater mobility, comfort, and physical movement.

Steenberg is also proud to announce the Cuisine & Couture event on 24 April 2024. In collaboration with famed South African designer Kat Van Duinen, the day will celebrate excellence in fashion, music, and cuisine. With its minimalistic shapes in luxurious leathers with exquisitely executed details, like sleek metallic hardware and suede linings, every creation by Kat Van Duinen is striking yet timeless, uncomplicated yet daring – a perfect celebration of true craftsmanship to welcome the new season. The event includes Steenberg Vineyards Cap Classique on arrival, a three-course lunch crafted by Tryn, a fashion show to unveil Kat Van Duinen’s latest spectacular creations; as well as entertainment by award-winning soprano Lynelle Kenned, the powerhouse mezzo-soprano Jacobi de Villiers, and piano virtuoso Olga Leonard.
