Celebrate food and wine culture with Stellenbosch Street Soirees

The popular Stellenbosch Street Soirees are back and transforming oak lined streets with food and wine culture.  Locals and visitors alike will flock to Stellenbosch to sip, savour and share in the vibrant spirit of the ‘forever young’ town.

The first gathering will take place in the town’s Drostdy Street on 26 November. The bustling street will close to traffic to make way for a merry crowd to mingle, indulge in Stellenbosch wines and snack on gourmet treats by local foodies.

Popular blues singing sensation, Gerald Clark,  will be performing live, adding feel-good vibes to this sensory ‘pavement playground’.

The Street Soirees will take place on seven different dates until the end of March 2015 and each event will feature a different selection of cellars and eateries. Ideal as an after-work get-together, it is the perfect remedy for a hectic day at the office and encourages strangers to become friends over a glass of vino and something tasty in hand.

R50 gets you entrance and a glass so that you can taste to your heart’s content on the evening.  The festivities kick off at 6pm and taper off at 8pm.
