The Benguela Group has been hard at work thinking up great ways to keep you entertained this Winter.
Benguela Brasserie at Lakeside Lodge in the Garden Route is offering a two or three course lunch for Father’s Day, with indulgent dishes like braised beef short ribs with parmesan mash and warm malva pudding with rooibos anglaise and buttermilk ice cream. Paired with Benguela Cove Wines from the Benguela Cove Lagoon Wine Estate in Walker Bay, Hermanus, this Father’s Day promises to be a very special one.
In commemoration with the Knysna Oyster Festival, this 5-star boutique hotel situated on the banks of the Swartvlei Lagoon, has also created an oyster hotspot for guests to enjoy during the festival from 1 to 10 July 2016. Guests can experience a relaxed boat cruise and oysters on the lake, on the Lady Giselle pontoon together with wine tasting, a match made in heaven, for R250 per person.
Benguela Brasserie & Restaurant, situated on the premises of Lakeside Lodge, is offering guests a delectable oyster platter for two, including prawns, oysters, calamari and chips or salad for R250 for two people. Additional Oyster themed cuisine includes six oysters for R100, six oysters with a carafe of your choice of Matilda’s Secret red, white or rosé wine for R170 and an impeccable hot oyster shot for R40.
Benguela on Main in Somerset West has created a warm and cosy atmosphere with a roaring fire to brave the cold wintry days. The Taster is located upstairs from the restaurant and has been designed for guests to relax in an elegant venue while sipping on South Africa’s premier wines. Guests will be particularly delighted with the Gluhwein and Cheesy Fondue option for R240 for two people; a great way to stay warm.
