The time has come for a cosy winter wine and food festival and there is no finer place to sip wines from the best of Cape Town’s wineries than the warm and friendly atmosphere of the Village Market space in the Cape Quarter. The Winter Wine Warmer will have an intimate, market-like atmosphere, with the emphasis on wine tasting along with delicious comfort food and local live entertainment.
On Saturday 29th June the boutique festival will celebrate local Cape Wineries in a friendly atmosphere that will allow interaction with the wine makers about the processes, the tasting regime and of course which wines to pair with the delicious comfort foods available at the festival. The delicious array of foods will be prepared by some of the Cape Quarter’s established restaurants along with Cape Town’s top chefs. The Market Bar, also known as the Boston Breweries Tasting Room, with its free flow, open plan layout will be open and providing enthusiasts with the option of a delicious craft beer on tap.
