The Sunflower Fund invites you to join them in celebrating moving in a new direction towards a future filled with hope.
The signature 9th annual Sunflower Fund gala dinner will be taking place on 29 July 2015 at the impressive 110-year-old Edwardian building, Cape Town City Hall. The event will be a glitzy affair, with a deconstructed Gatsby theme. With Marie Antoinette champagne flutes on hand, philanthropists will delight in the evening’s entertainment captivated by the essence of the modern-day Gatsby.
The evening will proceed with a cocktail reception, followed by a silent auction and a culinary feast prepared by the renowned Chef Annalize Buchanan.
All proceeds from the evening will be used to inspire potential bone marrow stem cell donors to join the South African Bone Marrow Registry. More donors on the Registry means more hope for leukaemia patients hoping to find their 1:100 000 lifesaving donor match.
The SunFlower Fund was formed by parents whose children had contracted leukaemia with the aim of securing financial support in order to increase the number of bone marrow stem cell donors in South Africa.
Tickets are limited and priced at R800, so book early to secure your seat! Visit www.sunflowerfund.co.za for booking details.
