This year the annual Harvest Festival / Die Oesfees took place at the prestigious Leriba Hotel in Centurion Gauteng. This year’s event took place from 27-28 May and was a huge success, with over 100 award-winning wine farms, handpicked cheese, olives, herbs and classical music featured and on display.

The Harvest Festival / Die Oesfees was dedicated to three constituents, namely to offer superior food and wine (bringing the finest wines of the Cape Winelands to Pretoria). Generating funds for their friends from SANPARKS, Honorary Game Rangers and Endangered Wildlife Trust (United Against Rhino Poaching) and harvesting and developing young talent. SANPARKS, a proud partner of the festival, exhibited with their highly respected Honorary Rangers. The festival also featured other prominent exhibitors including Amex Travel, Exclusive Books, Tom Tom and Specialized Cycles, who showcased their latest products and offers. Light bistro meals were available at Chapters Restaurant as well as a full A la Carte menu at Hemingway’s Restaurant & Wine Cellar,  guests also had the option of building their own burger or enjoying other light meals and picnic baskets.

Orchestra- The Harvest Festival and Winter Concert 2017

If you happen to have missed this glorious event, do not worry as it is an annual event which will thus occur again next year, there will also be a Winter Concert at Leriba Hotel that will be showcasing, in partnership with Pretoria FM, the Pretoria Symphony Orchestra. The concert will be taking place on 4 June 2017 from 14:30 to 16:30 and tickets are priced at R200 per person. The restaurant at Leriba, namely Chapters Restaurant and Hemingway’s Restaurant & Wine Cellar will be open, which is perfect if you would like to experience a scrumptious lunch or dinner with a fabulous show! So be sure to book your tickets before it’s too late!
