Everyone loves a meal in a restaurant every now and again, especially with the exciting culinary scene we have available to us in South Africa. While you may claim to love eating out no matter what, no one can claim that the experience isn’t a little sweeter if there are restaurant specials involved.

We know how much you all like a good bargain so we’ve rounded up some of our latest restaurant specials for you to take advantage of.

Cape Town
Balducci’s, V&A Waterfront, ‘B’ special: ‘B’ tempted by sushi, ‘B’ satisfied with pizza and pasta and ‘B’ delighted by a 28 day matured rump.
Buonvino Restaurant at the Protea hotel in Durbanville is having a WIne and Dine evening on 4 June which includes 4 courses each paired with a Meerlust wine.
Bardelli’s on Kloof Street and on Kenilworth Road have anumber of specials going on from Wine Wednesdays (top wines by the glass almost at cost price), Margherita Mondays (all margheritas are marked down, pay separately for toppings) and the Early Bird Special between 16.30 and 19.30 (get a free bottle of wine with any two Olimpia pizzas ordered).
Orinoco latin restaurant in Bree Street is offering a Wednesday night asado (braai) at your table (minimum 2 people), a fajita special for lunch or dinner and a special on cocktails throughout winter.
Ferrymans Tavern hosts the Paint it Black show every Wednesday. This is a live music show with a ‘speed painter’ on stage and a 3 course meal included in the ticket price.

Johannesburg
Voodoo Lily Cafe’s 2 course Meat Free Monday deal and the 3 course sustainable Saturdays meal. Both include a glass of juice or wine.
