#1 Hot Chocolate with Red Wine
170g grated dark chocolate
1/3 cup of red wine
Cup of milk
2/3 cup of water
Pinch of salt
Sugar

Method
Simmer the chocolate and wine together in a small saucepan over a low heat, stirring continuously. When the chocolate is melted, add the water, milk and salt. Bring to the boil, continuing to stir gently. Finally, serve in 2 mugs and add sugar to taste.

#2 Chilli Hot Chocolate
6 Tablespoons of cocoa powder
2 cups of milk
Pinch of chilli flakes
Sugar to taste

Method
Put the cocoa in a saucepan and add the milk, bring to the boil, stirring continuously. Add a teaspoon or two of sugar and sprinkle the chilli flakes into the mixture. Stir until the ingredients are combined and serve.

#3 Hot Chocolate and Peanut Butter
170g milk chocolate, grated
2 cups full cream milk
Tablespoon of smooth peanut butter
Sugar to taste

Method
Put the milk and the chocolate into a small saucepan and bring to the boil. Stir consistently to ensure the 2 ingredients combine. Just before the milk starts to boil, add the peanut butter. Stir until dissolved and then pour the mixture into mugs, adding sugar to taste.
