Harveys Restaurant at Winchester Mansions has announced an exciting new venture with the launch of a special wine and food pairing menu. It is also undergoing a menu make-over at large with the introduction of a new breakfast and lunch menu. Now, no matter what time of day it is, guests will be able to indulge in Harvey’s exquisite dining.
Ideally located along the popular Seapoint Promenade, Harveys has long been a favourite amongst wine enthusiasts, foodies and art lovers with its successful Grapes, Gourmet and Gallery (3G) evenings, which are hosted on a monthly basis.
Expanding on this concept, Harveys is now introducing a selection of 3, 4, and 5-course menus specifically paired with the finest of Cape wines. The pairing menu will rotate regularly to keep it fresh but some of the dishes to look forward to include almond crusted kingklip paired with Hartenberg Chardonnay 2011, bone marrow crusted beef fillet with Creation Syrah 2012 and bonoffee pie paired with CBC Amber Weiss.
The new breakfast and lunch menus comprise elegant dishes from a full continental buffet as well as other delicious breakfast options, 3-course lunches, salads and desserts. In addition, a selection of HDeli treats will also now feature on the menu.
Niall Bruyns, Food and Beverage manager of Harvey’s says “ There are many places in Cape Town where guests can go for good food and wine and a beautiful setting. We are proud that, for many years, we have been counted among these great establishments, but with these newly designed menus, we continue our quest to perfect that which separates us from the rest – true experience dining”.
The regular Harveys a la carte menu will still be available through all these changes and the much loved 3G evenings, hosted in the first week of every new month, will also continue.
