Women’s Day is once again upon us! Admit it, you just love an excuse to bring out your inner princess! Treat yourself and your lady friends by donning you best glad rags and heading over to one of these exclusive Women’s Day events happening in and around Cape Town:
The star attraction of this year’s Women’s Day itinerary is the special brunch at Reuben’s at the One & Only hotel. The event will be hosted by Come Dine With Me Celebrity and One & Only Cape Town ambassador, Aubrey Ngcungama. All ladies in attendance will enjoy a complimentary glass of Boschendal Sparkling Wine with their scrumptious buffet brunch at this award-winning South African themed restaurant. In addition to the deceptively simple local cuisine and wine, there will live music by award-winning jazz pianist Heidi van Wyk. There will also be chances to win some amazing prizes such as One & Only Spa treatments, Bastien Gonzalez Pedi:Mani Packages, and for the fitness fanatics, a personal training session to prepare for summer. It costs R185 per person to attend.
Moyos at the magnificent Kirstenbosch Gardens will be holding a special lunch buffet of their legendary African cuisine in honour of Women’s Day. It’s a great day out for the whole family with the vibrant singing of the wishy-washy ladies and the traditional African face painting. All women joining the day’s festivities will be welcomed with a complimentary drink. The cost to attend this event is R185 per adult; R90 for children aged 6-12 and it is free for children under six.
Fyndraai at Solms-delta Wine Estate is hosting their popular annual Women’s Day breakfast. On arrival at 9am, participating ladies will be treated to a cup of coffee or tea with scones and muffins served with cheese, cream and preserves. Thereafter, Professor Mark Solms, world-renowned Neuro-Psychoanalyst and co-owner of Solms-Delta, will give a fascinating talk entitled “The Brain in Love”. This talk will be followed by a sumptuous full cooked breakfast. This is a highly popular event which usually sells out each year and space is limited. The cost to attend is R195.
Not to leave out our Joburg readers, if you happen to be in Johannesburg this weekend, check out the Special Women’s Day event at Fairlawn’s Boutique Hotel and Spa in Morningside.
